I turned away for a few seconds then looked back and I swear I saw an image of a Ghostly figure sitting in the Doctors chair ,,,,,,,,,, Everyone want to sit in that chair ,,,, even Ghosts ,,,,
A Nice reflection from a interesting feature in the room ,,,,,, Not much time for that .
So now we have the wide shot ,,,,,, Things are looking good ,,,,,, But we still have to do the coverage ,,,, It is going to be tight for daylight looking out the windows ,,,
With a few wires put in our exterior lamps and the medium shot is still looking good and matching ,,,,,
Now this is where you get to the trusting part for a cinematographer ,,,,,We are into CU on the Doctor ...... I duck over and widen the curtain a little so we dont see an exterior ,,,,, But at some points in the two camera coverage it is unuseable for matching ,,,,, but we have an 80% useable ,,,,
So you have to either abandon the scene or trust the editor and Director not to stitch you up in post ,,, I felt that there was good matching coverage with in what we had shot ,,,,,,,,
But when I saw the edit ,,,,,,, OOPPPS ,,, are they blind ,,,,,,, How come they cant see these things ,,, Another lesson learned for me ,,, So DO you have to hang out infront of camera and put your hand in front of the section that is unuseable or cut ,,, Trust is a less disruptive path and it had worked for me in the past on these Films ,,,

Pity about that ,,, When I first saw the cut I wanted my name off the Film ,,,,, After awhile and a little post help ,,, it didnt look that bad . Maybe I am the only to see the problem ,,,, But but
Here is a Useable MATCHING CU from the same setup ,,,

Its a pity I was so Distracted with the Failing Window light as THE Doctor ,,, had some interesting stories from working with Aussies on Crocadile Dundee ,,, particularly a certain Gaffer ,,, Brian Bansgrove ,,,, funny stuff
Having done the hard stuff we were then able to relax and do the Reverse on Tom ,,,,,, That he so kindly waited to do last ,,,, Thanks Tom .That Wrapped us out of our 4 LAST DAY ,,,,, getting close now ,,,
