The outer office looked tasty ,,, ignoring the rain outside ,,, and having to close the blinds to hit them with 18k's worth of golden light ,,,,,, You wouldnt know we even tried to make it look good . When you see HOW BLAND THE LAB MADE THE RUSHES LOOK ,,,, We then moved into the SMALL office in the Main Workshop . Had some Nice warm Drying Lights to position in the BG .

Its funny how BIG things look on the Scout ,,, then when you get to shoot there you Havent got Room to Swing a CAT ,, let alone TWO cameras .

DAY 2 @ Hastys car yard

Raining and overcast ,, But the Red and white Smoke stacks in the Background save the day ,,, Made the exterior look interesting in Dalies ( or weeklies) or Rushes ( or slows )

DAY 2 Started Shooting without Robert ...... With all Hope that this will be a Temporary Thing

We start shooting with Dick Lowry who is a very experienced Director and a Great Guy ,,, I did a Fun Movie with Dick years ago ,,,, But our Heart goes out to Robert ,,,

Dick had arrived to take over the Directing ,, havent seen him for about 20 years ,,,,, We all looked greyer ,,, I had a Take 2 of the Pre prod location recce ,,,,,, felt like Day JARR Who ?

DAY ONE Behind the Scenes in the Dressing Room

In Cricket Terms ,,, Robert , On his Maiden over has retired hurt being struck by a rising bouncer off a NO BALL bowled by Health ,,,,, The Replacement ,,, Dick Lowry is now at the Crease trying to make as many runs as possible for the home team against a fiece opposition and changing weather . Posted Photos from the New Match will reflect the new teams position . We wish both teams all the Luck in this Grand Test .

While Chris was having fun with jogging feet and Ratcam we were playing with a Crane shot big pull out with out a Zoom control on the remote head ,,,

We arrived to Wait for the crane and Hothead ,,, Would have loved to stay with chris and do more lenses on Rat . Then we did the Sunset scene followed by the Dusk for night rain scene ,,, A little added rain in post would make it cool ( pretty hard to backlight from the cliff side ) Not wanting to underexpose the 16mm ,,, I gave it a good exposure to reduce the grain ,,,,,, Then Finally our EASY pre Prod shoot day was over ,,, Without Robert . What a blooy nightmare the Hothead was ,,,,,, Time and Tide waits for NO man .

DAY 1 ,, Life was not meant to be EASY ,, One of those Pre shoot day that are popular now days .

We Started in a Night restaurant scene ( tented ) ,,,, Bolted to Frog pond to shoot some jogging scenes and While we moved again to do Late day Cliffside and Dusk for night rain ( just an easy day pre shoot ), Chris stayed to shoot jogging feet with Ratcam ,,, And Didnt "Rat" go well AGAIN ,,, Thank you Ikea ,

Day 1 Tom has the Captains Cap and the Team goes out to Bat

Here we are Dinner for 2 on the First Day ,,,, It was Dinner for 2 on the Last Day last year ,,,,, The Same Reg Ashby Providing the Smoke ,,, Andy is Operating , Gareth is Focus , Gary is Gripping , and a Guest Performance by Gaffer Christopher , back at the crease batting for the home team as a Favour to the selectors .Scott is Back as the Main Stand In ,,,, We start this Test Match with eager anticipation and concern for our former Fallen Captain .
